Didácticas específicas en la formación de profesores de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad Católica del Maule

Abstract

The research seeks to study the incorporation of specific didactics in the training of teachers of the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Catholic University of Maule. From the review of the curricular matrices and the formative moments in which each didactics is positioned in the chosen study programs, the connection between didactics and pedagogical practices taught in each observed career is analyzed. Likewise, the conceptions of two academics who belong to the careers of Pedagogy in Physical Education and Pedagogy in Special Education are incorporated.

The results show that there is a similarity between the definition of specific didactics established by the theorists and the academics consulted; although a lack of consistency is perceived in the specific conceptualization of the discipline in the context of teacher training in the different areas. However, it can be seen after the analysis, that in the programs studied, specific didactics predominate over general didactics, which shows the interest of the training institution to incorporate the discipline in question into its training projects.
